By bus, train or on foot

Butetown is genuinely walkable from the practice — it's around twenty minutes on foot from Loudoun Square up Bute Street and into the city centre, a route plenty of our patients already know well from shopping trips or nights out. If you'd rather not walk, buses run along Bute Street and Lloyd George Avenue straight into the centre, stopping close to St David's Centre.

Butetown itself doesn't have a railway station, but Cardiff Central is a short walk or bus ride from the southern end of the neighbourhood, with Queen Street station — two minutes from the practice — reachable directly from there or via the Bay line if you're closer to the Cardiff Bay end of Butetown.

Nextbike docks are dotted around Bute Street and the surrounding area too, and the Taff Trail passes close enough to Butetown's western edge to offer a pleasant, traffic-free alternative for anyone happy to cycle in.
